Courses for Community Development
FTC’s Courses for Community Development are specifically designed to empower community development practitioners (fully-employed and volunteers) to increase their capacity in the important function they fulfil in communities.
Our Higher Education and Training Certificate: Development Practices, Level 5 Qualification encapsulates all the requirements for practitioners to attain the qualifications that will enable them to support individuals and communities in achieving the development objectives that they have identified. We recognise that many practitioners have been involved in community development without necessarily having had a formal qualification. Practitioners who do not have the necessary entry qualification may be admitted through an RPL process based on their experience in the field.
We also offer supplementary courses for that are important skills when working in community development.
